About this Recipe
Pizza Night is a favorite here at The Crimson Orchid Inn. Come visit me in Belize and I’ll make a fresh pie just for you! Here’s how I make the dough.
Ingredients

*this recipe is adapted for sea level baking 6 cups all purpose flour 2 cups warm water 6 Tablespoons vegetable oil 1 teaspoon salt 1 Tablespoon active dry yeast
6 teaspoons white sugar 1/2 tsp baking powder (sea level)
Preparation
Mix all in stand mixer with dough hook for 8-10 minutes.
This recipe makes 4 large or 6 personal size pies. Cut and roll into balls and let rise in a greased bowl or pan for 2 hours.
Punch down, kneed into balls again and let rest in cooler for at least an hour.
Bring dough to room temp to roll out and finish with favorite toppings.
Bake in 500 degree oven for 15 minutes. Enjoy! ✌🏼🍕😎
